A quiet interplay of material, mass, and light, this lamp is conceived as a sculptural object that sits between product and architecture.

The base is carved from natural stone, grounding the piece with weight, texture, and permanence. Rising from this solid foundation, a lightweight metal skeleton forms the structural core of the lamp, wrapped delicately in jute cloth. This layered construction allows the light to breathe through the fabric, creating a warm, diffused glow that softens the geometry and brings a tactile warmth to the form.

The contrast between the raw, enduring character of stone and the woven, organic softness of jute gives the lamp a distinct material narrative, one that speaks of balance between heaviness and lightness, rigidity and permeability.
More than a lighting fixture, the piece acts as a spatial element, casting gentle shadows and adding depth, texture, and character to its surroundings.

THE x
A temporary bamboo installation set within a serene landscape, the project explores assembly, mobility, and structural experimentation using low-tech, sustainable materials. Conceived as a two-level seating structure, it encourages collective interaction across generations. Through a hybrid system of traditional bamboo craftsmanship and contemporary structural logic, the installation demonstrates how temporary architecture can be lightweight, inclusive, and adaptable to its surroundings.
